Dota 2 Update: New Long-Term Contracts

Dota 2 Tundra, , , ,

On January 25th of this year, we officially announced our entry into a new competitive title with our acquisition of mudgolems. An elite group of Dota 2 players, led by a seasoned veteran in Fata and filled to the brim with potential. Despite an early roster change, the team came together and not only delivered strong performances in the Upper Division of the DPC and the TI10 qualifiers, but they earned the title of ESL One Fall Champions!

Today, we can confirm that all members of our Dota 2 team have signed a new long-term contract with the club until 2024. This new deal, sees our team sign one of the longest standing contracts in Dota 2.

Our vision has always been focused on developing this roster long-term. As we head into a new season of competition, our sights are fully set on The International. We’re doing everything we can to ensure our team is ready to compete at the highest level. Later this week, the team will travel to our boot camp location to continue their preparation for the new season of the DPC.

Anthony Graham, Tundra Esports Co-Founder & Manager:
“We’ve seen the potential these players showed and immediately recognised the talent they have. Their rise to success and the ability to bounce back from setbacks make us believe they are a winning combination. The players’ drive to succeed directly corresponds with Tundra’s strive to become the best esports organisation out there, so it felt only natural to continue working with them.

We’ve also worked closely with our partner Adamas Esports to build a holistic performance programme for the players both in and outside of the game. We can’t wait to see what the future holds with the team, and we look forward to fighting for the Aegis next year!”

Adrian “Fata” Trinks, Tundra Esports Dota 2 Captain:
We got really close to qualifying for The International this year, and we think we’ve got what it takes to get there. The team is really excited to push ourselves, and Tundra’s support made it so much easier for us to fully focus on playing. I am very confident with the support from Tundra we will be able to continue this improvement to reach new heights in the upcoming DPC season and beyond.”
