TI 11 Champions
The Aegis is ours! From Mudgolems to champions, our incredible Dota 2 team brought it all the way home in the Grand Final of The International 2022!
In our first international win at one of the biggest esports tournaments in the world, we beat Team Secret by 3-0 in a gripping best of 5. We dominated the Upper Brackets all the way to the final, and scooped an $8.5 million prize pot for the team.
As the team head off for a well-deserved break, here’s a brief roundup of the key wins on the road to TI after an incredible 2 years of hard work to make this happen:
- Team lineup:
Skiter, Nine, 33, Saksa, Sneyking, Coach: Aui_2000 (who has now won as both player and team coach for the first time)
- August 2022
Qualified 1st place at the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), and 3rd place in the Stockholm Major.
- The International 2022, Singapore
Topped Group B, beating defending champions OG and Team Spirit, without dropping a single series, with a record 14-4-0 win/draw/loss.
- We dominated the International 2022 not losing a single series in the entire tournament, only previously achieved by #OG in 2019 and #NAVI in 2011. Tundra went on to win the upper bracket playoffs securing the Grand Finals, to win 3-0 in a best of 5 against Team Secret, taking the Aegis!
